Marla, born Deborah Adela Marla Brown on November 5, 1986, is the youngest child of the legendary Crown Prince of Reggae, Dennis Emanuel Brown.
With a background in Ballet, Street, and Contemporary dance, Marla has showcased her talents across Europe for over 14 years. As a former Ambassador for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games, a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent, and a recognized dancer for Adidas, she has made a name for herself in London's entertainment scene. With numerous English national championship titles and a wealth of experience in theatre productions, Marla is seen as a rising star destined for the stage.
Marla, the youngest child of the late Crown Prince of Reggae, Dennis Emanuel Brown, debuted her single "Better Days" on April 12, 2015 (available on iTunes). Produced by Royal Order Music, the track was premiered by David Rodigan on BBC 1XTRA. "Better Days" showcases Marla's writing and vocal skills, serving as an uplifting declaration for people facing life's challenges. According to Marla, it's a message that no one should face difficulties alone.
In addition to her solo venture, Marla is gearing up for musical collaborations with some of Jamaica's finest artists and producers. This young Princess is poised for a bright and exciting future in the music industry.
